Service & Installation Co-ordinator

We are looking for a Service & Installation Co-ordinator with at least 4 years’ experience in a Administration/Co-Ordination role.

The Role

At Cool Services Ltd, customer service is at the heart of what we do, and we’re looking for someone who shares that commitment.

This role is the key link between our customers, engineers, suppliers and the wider business teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating service and installation works, communicating with customers, efficiently and to the highest standard. They will be organised, proactive and enjoy building positive relationships.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work planning and job scheduling.
  • Supervision of un-planned service and installation scheduling.
  • Managing costs and liaising with customers regarding further works.
  • Sourcing of required materials, equipment and sub-contract services including timing and locations.
  • Managing site documentation for customer use.
  • Maintain full, accurate and timely records for office use.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone, written, email or face to face.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the air conditioning sector would be an advantage but training will be given.
  • A good mechanical understanding would be an advantage but not essential.
  • A calm, measured and thorough approach to problem-solving.
  • Track record of using IT as an integral part of a job.
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer

We are recruiting for an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer with 5 years’ experience

The Role

We are recruiting experienced air-conditioning and refrigeration service engineers to join our growing business. Ideally you will have 5 years relevant, proven experience in this type of role. You should also be able to demonstrate your technical competence and familiarity across a broad range of air conditioning and air handling systems. Refrigeration or chiller equipment experience is desirable.

The successful candidate will have a ‘customer comes first mindset’ and be able to effectively diagnosis and repair systems in planned or breakdown situations.

You will be part of an out of hours cover on a rota basis which is paid accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills

  • F-Gas certification is essential.
  • Certification with other refrigerants and gases desirable.
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent.
  • Capable of understanding / using technical documentation and resources.
  • Experience with Tablet and Phone based service management / technical support apps.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license
  • Own hand tools.
  • DBS: Current holder or able to pass clearance.

Air Conditioning Installation Engineers

We are recruiting for an Air Conditioning Installation Engineers with 3 years’ experience

We are looking air conditioning installation engineers to join our growing business. Ideally you will have 3 years relevant, proven experience in this type of role. You should be technically competent and with all types of commercial and industrial air conditioning systems.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of air conditioning systems, from start to completion with the support of the projects department. They will have the ability to carry out the efficient installation of customer systems to required industry standards and be able to train, guide and manage junior engineers and apprentices on site. Cover for the out of hours Duty Rota will also be required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • F-Gas certification is essential.
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent.
  • Capable of working to and understanding drawings i.e. Installation, circuit diagrams, and line schematics.
  • Experience with tablet and phone based service management / technical support apps.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license, and have a willingness to travel
  • Own hand tools
  • DBS: Current holder or able to pass clearance
